M. Berk Mirza
M. Berk Mirza was a postdoctoral research associate at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. He uses eye-tracking and computational modelling to understand the mechanisms underlying human choice and visual exploratory behaviour. He is particularly interested in applying active inference models in his research. Active inference links the computational mechanisms underlying human behaviour with distinct cognitive functions and brain regions, making this framework suitable for studying human choice behaviour at an individual level. In the CSI Lab project, the aim was to quantify the differences between psychosis types in terms of computational models.
