CPTSD and Trust
This study is a collaboration between the Helen Bamber Foundation and the CSI lab. We are using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to identify neural mechanisms underlying trust in Complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD).
Our main hypothesis is that lower levels of trust will be prevalent among those with CPTSD than in healthy controls. We also predict that differences correlate with the severity of CPTSD symptoms and duration of illness.
